StreetBond is an acrylic modified epoxy resin coating engineered for high foot traffic pavements. It is a US-manufactured product from a New Jersey supplier, brought into Australia through Brisbane, and it is the system specified for decorative crossings, plazas and traffic-calming work.
It is applied to asphalt or concrete and is designed to stay bonded and colour-stable under vehicle loading, UV and cleaning - which is where architectural paints fail. The streetbond product is laid and rolled on thoroughly. It is well suited for sport areas (courts), parks, commercial building pavements, university campuses & more.

Process

Assess the pavement
We confirm the substrate, age, oxidation and any bleeding or failure before specifying a system.

Clean and prepare
Mechanical sweep and pressure clean; oil and rubber contamination are treated or cut out.
- 03
Set out
Pattern, banding and lot markings are set out and masked to the drawing or spec supplied.
- 04
Apply
The coating is squeegeed or sprayed in the specified number of coats at the required spread rate.
- 05
Hand back
Cure times, traffic staging and cleaning requirements are documented on handover.
Colour chart
Indicative only - screens shift colour, so final selection is made from physical sample boards on site. Each colour is an oxide that tints the base compound, used on its own or flecked with a second and third colour to read as stone.
